General Raid Rules

1.During the raid formation we will limit each class to a maximum of 8. We might hold in reserve spots for people who have stated they might be late. We also reserve the right to include more of XYZ class as the need arrives for certain raids. Once a raid commences non filled slots will be filled on a need basis then filled with any extras which may increase a class past 8

2. No Displaying of Damage meters during a raid. These distract people from doing their job.

3. Keep general chatter out of the main raid channel. Join cutterchat to talk about general things.

4. Join your respective class channels once you enter a raid. cuttermelee (warriors, rogues), cuttercast(mages, warlocks) , cutterheal (druids, shamans, priests), cuttershot (hunters).

5. Come prepared. This means get your FA skill to 300 and have a stock of bandages, a stock of healing and mana potions. Get CT_RaidAssist (www.ctmod.net) installed and if you can have TeamSpeak (http://www.goteamspeak.com/) installed.

6. No rules will be altered during a raid and interpretation will fall to respective raid leaders if the need arises.

7. Molten Core Specific :- Tranq Shot - Raid Leaders choose a hunter that actively raids MC with alliance to receive the tranq shot. This will not be rolled on.

Trade Good Rules

1.Cores / Core Leathers / Dark Iron will be sent to the guild bank.

Miscellaneous Drops - Patterns / Recipes / World drops

These items will be decided by a single roll. To qualify for this roll you must have 300 skill in the applicable trade and or be able to use the world drop. No selling of these drops is allowed and they are to be learnt / equipped as soon as the item is received. There will be no wiping or loss of Points due to winning a drop in this category.

Stonecutters Point System

SCP system is a mix of our older rolling system and some very commonly used DKP systems. This new system will is aimed at giving casual raiders a shot, but also rewarding the regular attender much better opportunties to gain loot on SC Raids

Class Preferences & Upgrading Items

WoW-Loot.com will be used to analyze and decide preferential classes when allocating items. Once all the members of that class on a given raid have obtained the item then it will be opened up for whoever wants the item.

Raid Leader and Officers on the raid can limit classes on an item if there is no pre-determined class limits on that item already. This is to ensure we keep items going to places they will get the maximum usage, for items that are new or not covered in our own pre-determined review of items.

Raid Leader and Officers on the raid can also deny a person the chance to obtain an item, if the upgrade-ability is considered to be minimal (aka upgrading epic for epic maybe denied at times). Again this is to ensure items are going to places within the guild where the the maximum benefit will be obtained from the item and to promote fairness to everyone.

Earning Points

1. 1 Point is earned for killing a raid boss in MC, Onyxia's Layer, and other future 40 person raids.

2. 1 Point is being on time to a raid.

Processing code will allow for 10mins from raid start so extras that get pulled in get the point as well. Also No Extras will be pulled in before start time anymore, this can cause problems if someone is added then removed from the raid because the original attendee shows up ontime. Spots will be given to extra's still immediately at raid start time.

3. 1 Point is earned for every 2 hours spent on a raid.

This will reward people no matter when they joined the raid for every 2 hours they spent on the raid. So if people leave a raid under 2 hours from when they joined, they will not receive this point. If people come in and fill a spot, then spend 2 hours on the raid that person will get 1 point for committing those 2 hours to the raid.

What Does Points Mean for Me?

At the end of each raid the collected raid information is tallied and uploaded to our website and can be found here. This shows you your current stockpile of Points. Item points will be used to determine who is eligible to get a single roll on an item.

Spending Points

Points will be used to determine which tier a member falls into.

Tiers

  • Tier 1: 1 - 20
  • Tier 2: 21 - 30
  • Tier 3: 31 - 40
  • Tier 4: 41 - 45
  • Tier 5: 46 - 50
  • Tier 6: 51+

Tiers 1 - 5:
On item distribution the person in the highest tier gets the item. If there are multiple people in that tier then all of those people get a single roll (random 100) for the item.

Tier 6:
Person with highest points automatically gets the item. In the event of a tie a single random 100 will determine the winner.

Reward Points Spending (Decay System)

Upon winning an item you will lose points based on a decay percentage. Different items have different decay rates. Different decay rates for Weapons, Wands, Jewelry, BoE set items, and BoP set items are the expected categories.

Decay Rates

  • Weapons 90%
  • Armor BoP 75%
  • Neck and Rings 65%
  • Trinkets 55%
  • Armor BoE 50%
  • Wands 50%

Special / Specific Item Decay Rates

  • Head of Onyxia 0% (Awarded Based on Raid Attendance)
  • The Eye of Divinity 90%
  • Ancient Petrified Leaf 50%
  • Mature Black Dragon Sinew 90%
  • Mature Blue Dragon Sinew 90%

Less Desirable Items 40%

  • Flame Gaurd Gauntlets

Default Decay Rate 90% - This is for items that are not covered in the parser.

Trial Members and Non-Guilded Attendees

Trial members are not eligible for any loot under any circumstances if any full member needs the item. They can attend raids and earn points but they will receive no items over a full member. This means a full member will receive Epic Quest Items 1st. A full member that needs an item and has already won one on a raid will receive it before a trial member. The only possible situation is if no one on the raid at all needs the item for use, and it is an upgrade that will be equipped by the trial member is the only time they can receive loot.

Non-Guilded Raid Attendees can only get loot if it is going to be DE. This means trials and full members will get multiple items as long as they need the item before a non-guildie is even in consideration. The only time non-guildie gets item is if it was going to be DE.

Priest and Hunter Epic Quests

NOTE APPLIES TO EPIC QUESTS
In the event of a tie Raid Attendance, those members will single /random 1000 for the item.

Priest Epic Quest

A: Priest with Eye of Shadows gets the Eye of Divinity.
B: If 2 Priests have Eye of Shadows, then the Priest with the Highest Raid Attendance gets the Eye Of Divinity.
C: If no priests have the Eye Of Shadows the priest with the Highest Raid attendances gets the Eye of Divinity.

Hunter Epic Quest

Ancient Petrified Leaf
A: Hunter with the Blue or Black Sinew will Recieve the Leaf.
B: Two or more hunters with Sinew, then highest Raid attendee will recieve the Leaf.
C: No Hunters have Sinew, highest Raid attendee will recieve the Leaf.

Black Mature Sinew or Blue Mature Sinew
A: Hunter with the Leaf recieves the Sinew.
B: Two or more hunters with the Leaf, then highest Raid attendee will recieve the Sinew.
C: No hunters have Leaf, then highest Raid Attendee will recieve the Sinew.
NOTE: Having one sinew, does not affect completion of the quest by obtaining the other sinew, there is no relation between the two sinews. Thus this does not qualify you for getting a Sinew, it will be given to the A, B or C above.

Misc Notes Rules

1. One item per raid per person. If everyone passes on an item, then a member may single roll against others who have won and desire the item as well. Points will be set to 0 for any person that wins two items in a raid.

2. Onyxia's Head: Top Raid attendees will be allowed to single roll for the head.

3. If no one wants the item then BoEs go to the guild bank and BoPs are disenchanted and the shards are sent to the guild bank.

4. Once a raid commences the Points Stated on the website are deemed final. Any complaints about the number of Points given to your character must be brought to the attention of Shavas before (at least 1 day) a raid has started so that it can be addressed. Please send any complaint's / questions to lord_shavas@hotmail.com.

ZG / AQ 20-Man Guild Raid Policy

In order to make sure scarabs/idols are put to the best usage, the guild bank will stock these items. When a character achieves the faction and Purple Quest Item needed to complete a ZG or AQ quest and receive the reward all they need to do is simply send a request to Montyburns the ZG / AQ Bank Character. The guild bank will then send them the idols / scarabs needed to fulfill the quest.

MontyBurns is the official AQ Scarab / Idol. Please feel free to send him your current coins if you liked to free up some of your bank slots!

Raid Leaders will be responsible for knowing when to collect an item or open it up to the raid. Raid Leaders may simply roll need on any item that is understocked within the guild bank.

1. ZG Coins / ZG Bijous - (No longer needed for class quests) Will be greeded by raid. After you have one a Bijiou you should pass on that particular ZG Run.

2. AQ Scarabs - Since these are only used quest turn ins, the guild bank will stock upto 100 of each. Following that all members in the raid can greed roll for them.

3. AQ Idols - Since these are only used quest turn ins, the guild bank will stock upto 50 of each. Following that all members in the raid can greed roll for them.

4. ZG/AQ - people can win 1 Purple Drop and 1 Purple Quest Item on a raid. Since the quest item often will require a larger faction gain and more work to get an item, we consider them seperate of a normal purple drop in these instances.

5. AQ Tomes - people can win only 1 Book Drop per raid if others within the same class have not been awarded a book drop on that given raid.

Lastly: Regarding non-guildies who attend an SC Raid. They must abide by all the rules above. If they win a purple quest item on a SC Raid. The SC Raid Leader needs to make note of it and will provide this person with the necessary Scarabs/Idols needed to complete their quest.

Main / Alts Policy

You are recruited as a certain class. To change your declared main, you must get officer approval. You are welcome to play alts at any time, but alts will not be given MC/Onyxia/ZG/AQ slots unless that class is short. Alts are welcome to come on lower level instances.

To Petition: pm an officer and then the officers will have a vote / discussion on this issue. This process will most likely take a few days to get all officers' input as needed on the issue. This policy is to help us ensure we have good class balance and all classes have a decent / fair shot to attending raids. This is a key for our success in the future. Also choose wisely, multiple main vs alt swapping will often be rejected.
