Now that was a game worthy of being a Superbowl game.

it was worthy of being a typical NFL game full of bad calls.

Well, as a Seattle fan who thinks that his team got BONED by the refs to favor the Shitsburgh Squeelers three years ago, this just aggravates me even more.  I know it was a long shot for the Card's to win on that last drive, but how the FUCK do you not review that last call?  The ball was clearly still in Warner's hand as it was moving forward, that was absolutely a forward pass and an incompletion.

This is a Touchdown?  REALLY?

Yes, that was a touchdown, about .75 seconds before the image you posted.  Another angle clearly showed both feet down a good 2 feet inside the playing field.

I don't like the fact that they won, but there was nothing sketchy about it.  They played better and cleaner (for the most part) than the Cardinals.

Yeah I know, I saw that replay.  I just like to bitch :)  Not reviewing that last play is inexcusable though.

Using the ball as a prop is an automatic 15-yard penalty on the kickoff.

Arizona had plenty of chances to win the game and they didn't.  Honestly how do you let any receiver get behind you not once, but twice in an goal line situation in the corner of the end zone? (first one Holmes didn't grab onto) Just should not of been allowed to happen.

For what it is worth the refer did say "The booth said it was a fumble".  Meaning some guy up there watched a quick replay and said it was a fumble and decided not to look at it again.  Either way though that didn't lose them the game, what lost them the game was missed opportunities or blunders like letting the Steelers get behind you, in the end zone... not once, but twice in a red zone situation!

The NFL front office has a hard on anytime the Steelers make it to the Superbowl because they are one of the landmark franchises and have fans all over the globe.  A Steeler victory is a league victory.  The refs were badly in favor of Pittsburgh and it was clearly evident.  Holmes using the ball as a prop should have been called... less egregious celebrations were flagged all year long.  The last play should have been officially reviewed, it was clearly not a fumble.  Calling a chop block on James but not on Parker the half dozen times he did it.  Most of the penalties I recall being called on Pittsburgh were late flags whilst the calls against Arizona were incredibly fast.
I'm not funny just ugly.

Yea I hate calls like that.  How the hell is he supposed to stop his momentum in mid air or in 1 or 2 steps.

It turned into an exciting game.

I read an article the other day (I think on espn or fox sports) that said the review guy did look at the play and told the ref it was a fumble right away because the ball was fully controlled by Warner as his arm was moving forward.  I still think it was a shit for all call at the end, another chance at a hail marry would have been great.

Yeah I heard the guys on TV said they looked at it but it just seemed all too fast for what was happening. Stop play and look at it what does that hurt its only 5 seconds left in the game.
